Then fix it. Enable means you really want to enable gif support, not the other way
around, because it is no --check-gif or whatever you call it.

Again, fix the check, not to mention that you didn't provide a log which problem
you are trying to fix with your patch.

P.S. It seems the email address which are used on this list are now beeing used by
same spammer as an source address, i get a lot of bounce mails for spam mails where
they use something_random_name at lists.veego.de
