Nope, the above issue still exists.  I should have said that I was 
testing with the flag off.  No really objective tests done so far, but 
subjectively it sounds a bit better than the internal alternative.  I 
will need to knock up some test tones for proper testing (I have written 
some slightly automated impulse response testing tools for measuring 
room response - it would be interesting to feed these through it and see 
if audible artifacts are generated)
