Hi,
currently MPlayer will output hwac3 always via SPDIF even when a device= 
string is given. This is not only problematic for people with external 
AC3 decoders, but also (at least IMHO) against MPlayer policy to always 
do what the user says even if it doesn't seem to make sense ;-)
