Sorry, i completely forgot about this patch :(

I'll look at it in the next few days.

BTW, if the codec is quite complex (ie. not just 3 copies of mp3  
decoder running together), it would be better to add it to ffmpeg  
instead off mplayer (most video codecs were ported to ffmpeg, audio  
will be next).
Are you interested in looking at it?
