seeing how it seems to work, to be able to extract sequences from a video i 
would need :
- an EDL action which would mean "play only this sequence"
- a keyboard mapping that would allow to write current time EDL files (on 
standard ouput or in any file...)

then i could playback my sequence, but still won't have it in a separate file 
from the original... ?

is that it?
