[MPlayer-dev-eng] hardware acceleration modification but not using DVB, DRX2, DRX3

I am trying to evaluate MPlayer if hardware acceleration addition is
possible. I learned that there is support for DVB, DRX2, DRX3. I take it as
a positive finding. I would like to probe deeper up to a level where I could
determine the amount of effort required to implement such support. Please
direct me to the modules that I should consider modifying.
