They are still removed, they doesn't built with standard configure. (maybe 
i should reactivate it again, since some users seems to have problems with 
the 'new' alsa).
nevertheless subopts in -ao alsa, alsa9, alsa1x are completly the same 
since they share the mostly same code. (to reduce this 'sensless' 
redundancy, was my motivation for the merge).

it doesn't worked for me without escaping. "-" wasn't shown on xterm.

yes, /dev/dsp is the default.
