Same error still, building out of mplayer tree. Kernel is a 2.6.6, by 
fedora.

I grepped both /usr/src/linux-2.6.6 and /lib/modules/2.6.6/build, 
neither had the missing symbols :/


Afaik, /lib/modules/`uname -r`/build is the correct directory to build 
modules against with 2.6, except if you're using SUSE, then it's 
something else, istr. :-\
