[MPlayer-dev-eng] MythTV's nuv patch revisited...

Hi,

    A quick search on the mailing list and I found a couple of people
mentioning the support of MythTV's nuv file in mplayer. I've found an
old patch at http://dijkstra.csh.rit.edu:8088/~mdz/mythtv/mplayer-0.90rc5-mythtv-20030407.diff. I've applied the patch to mplayer's the current mplayer cvs
source and it works on the latest stable MythTV (0.15.1) nuv file.

    There are a few issues though, like the total time is zero, and seeking
forward is not working.

    I'm wondering if any of the mplayer developers would like to take a
look and incorporate this patch, and/or perhaps fix various issues with
it. It would be cool if we can extend it, for example, to do
things like the subtitle/text frame in MythTV's nuv, in the future, too.
