[MPlayer-dev-eng] will there be further development for matrox g450 cards?

hi,

a question to the developers regarding matrox g450 support:

i've had enourmous trouble trying to get a matrox g450 to display video on
the tv-out and found it actually not to be supported. tv-out worked via
matroxfb but with ugly effects probably from lack of proper buffering (i got
nasty "cuts" in the middle of the picture, looked like the next frame was
overlapping..), so i found it to be unusable.

i read someone succeeded in coding a nice tv-out in direcfb wich sadly is
not an option for me, since i need 4 different outputs from one machine,
wich works nicely using vga and -vo mga  or xv / x11 but not with directfb.

afaik the much better supported g400 is not even sold anymore, so my
question is, if there are any plans on implementing a nice tv-out also for
the g450. since someone has found a way to do so using directfb i imagine it
should be possible by looking into how it was done. is anybody plannig such
thing?
