Stream selection is broken in the new Matroska demuxer. I have a patch
for that, but as I don't quite understand what Aurelien wanted to
accomplish by that particular piece of code I'd like to have his input
on my patch (which I've mailed him already).

So when would be the 'dead line' for me to commit my fix?
