You should  have the same defaults  as these available in  the Win32 VFW
frontend.  I think it's  just better  for users  to have  an homogeneous
behavior accross different platforms.

That said, i don't want to  interfer too much in xvid4 mencoder module's
life, so do as you wish, and take my words as simple advises.
