And then you make one of those shitty rips that cuts off right in the
middle of someone's speech. If you're going to encode movies, have the
patience to do things MANUALLY so they don't come out like crap. It
takes a lot of attention to make a good encode; it's not a brainless
automated process and won't be for a LONG time to come.

And yes, like Alex said, -dump* was designed for reverse engineering
codecs, not for making valid mpeg streams. Leaving off frame lengths
will make most other codecs' data unparsable.
