I really think it must work correctly for at least someone before it can
be applied.
Also you place spaces quite inconsisten e.g. you sometimes have things
like
if( a<b )
and in other places
if (a < b)

Not really important but I don't think it's a good idea to make code
unnecessarily difficult to read...
