the guy that requested the patch reported success.
I didn't apply it because Alex clearly pointed out that code maintaners
should care
for their code, when he took over the maintenership of G1.

BTW I will be away (and can use only a 28.8 modem) at least until 18/8,
so I can't commit patches at the moment.
