Yes, we had some bsd related patches quite early in the development,
but we never got official reports from the ports maintainers.

Yes, i've been told that every time when i complain about this.
But why should we look whether distribution XY has some patches
on mplayer applied ? And yes, from my point of view, bsds are nothing
else then another "linux" distribution. (please dont flame me because
i put bsds and linux into one pot, i know their differences)
