It's a vicious circle and you are going to be at the loosing end of
it.  You have to break out of it if you want to move the BSDs along,
at least IMHO.

You should know that patches take some time to get applied here, but
they are all either accepted or rejected eventually.  Please be a bit
more patient.

I once looked for them but could not find them.  Maybe FreeBSD users
can find it in a snap, but I am not a FreeBSD user and I quickly got
fed up with trying to support an OS I don't use.

You can subscribe with the nomail option to be able to post and as
explained above they may be publicly available but not necessary easy
to find.  Besides I don't see why we should bother to go hunting for
(portability) patches.  I consider it good form to send all patches I
create upstream.

Sure it does.  We care about portability and apply all acceptable
portability patches that are sent to us.  We do not go hunting for
them in (random) places, though.
