I think by schedule he means something that does not only contain a date 
but also things that have to be done by that date ;-)

Anyway, I'd say we're having XP (extreme programming) style here. Just 
that we usually don't do pair-coding. And that we don't code tests 
before coding actual code. And that we forgot the last few hundred 
refactoring cycles. And... well, maybe that's already all the 
differences. Too bad that they include the things our professor called 
the key aspects of XP ;-)
Well, heck I mostly program because I occasionally think it's fun. For 
me this project is at least as much for the developers as for the users. 
And those users who don't like that can either try to find a better 
player or simply become a developer ;-)
