hi

compiling with gcc 3.4.0 now works, but we have to use -mtune instead of
-mcpu

(see: http://gcc.gnu.org/gcc-3.4/changes.html
"-mcpu has been renamed to -mtune.")

this patch checks this: if gcc version number is >= 3.4 configure will use
-mtune instead of -mcpu

the patch is for the x86 part. should i do this for other platforms?
