Argh, he just sent the message below to me in private. I have nothing to
do with him, except being subscribed here.

Did he send that to everyone on the list?! That's completely
unacceptable and confirms that unsubscribing him was the right thing to
do.

Subject: mobbing @mplayer-lists !

Hi,

I just wanted you to know, that Attila Kinali has mobbed me out of
the mplayer lists, because I wanted to discuss with him about why he
threatened to kick me off the list.

The background was, that he disliked my signature - which was too long
for him - and so he wrote me a mail where he threatened to kick me off
the mplayer-lists immediately if I post any single mail with this
signature. He defamed my signature - which just contained my contact
information - as "spam" and demanded me to cut it down.

I asked him, if it is just for principle or if there is any good
reason and if a signature filter wouldn't help. I also stated that
in all the about 100 maillists where I'm active, nobody had a problem
w/ my signature yet. As he also uses the mutt mta, I asked him, if he
would have any tip how to configure it in order to skip off the
signature for the mplayer lists.
But with his answer he made absolutely clear, that's he's the boss of
the lists and he doesn't need any good reason to hate my signature.

As I then asked him, if he really wants such a childish niveau,
he just kicked me off the lists @mplayerhq.hu.

Well, nevertheless some people disliked me from the moment when I
wanted to improve the buildsystem to make it more consistent and
reliable for fully automated builds and at least when I "collaborated"
with the "stupid" matroska people and voted for a common codec api.
(rich felker at most - he seemed to be quite paranoid at all ...)

Isn't it funny ?
Probly its not good publicity for mplayer ...
