Like I said searching on Google for "rtsp akamaistream reflector" will
give you a bunch of rtsp:// RealMedia URLs without those extensions.

The one I am testing with is
rtsp://a539.l830021913.c8300.e.lr.akamaistream.net/live/D/539/8300/v0001/reflector:21913

But there are literally hundreds of them out there, and of course the
extension based detection code breaks *all* of them. That is why I
proposed host based detection. I know it is a pretty bad hack, but it
is one that will work 99% if not 100% of the time, while currently
the existing code fails 100% of the time for akamaistream URLs.

In any case please apply the patch I sent.
