If it is not the right fix, what would be the right fix?  I do not
really care about the top/bottom swap on cropping odd lines, but
passing the flags down is necessary to filter any interlaced content.
Of course all filters should pass that on, so if you mean that there
should be some more genral mechanism to pass the field-flags through
filters, then you are right, but I'm not sure how can you fix that in
mplayer-g1.

Also note that without this patch you cannot process hdtv 1080i
streams because of a bug in -vc libmpeg2 that sets the height to 1088
(I'v posted a bugreport about this to advusers a few weeks ago).  But
even without this bug, I want to crop cefore processing, since it takes
a lot of time to process at 1920x1080 resolution, when the actual
content is often just 1412x1060.
