Heh, just noticed that this is already present in the man page:

       -sub-demuxer <number> (BETA CODE)
              Force subtitle demuxer type for -subfile.

However, I think this version is better:

   -sub-demuxer <number> (-subfile only)
     Force subtitle demuxer type for -subfile.  Give the demuxer ID as
     defined in subreader.h.
