[MPlayer-dev-eng] libavcodec as 'public' library

Hi!

The subject line is misleading, but was the best i could find...

I would like to know how can I compile mplayer so that the included 
libavcodec gets to be installed in the system as a shared library 
like all those other that we have.

I know it is possible, but just don't know how.
