hmm, i dunno, i know that there was a bug in some gcc version with altivec and 
the libmpeg2 altivec IDCT, IIRC this got worked around in libmpeg2 but not in 
ffmpeg as the one who ported the IDCT from libmpeg2 couldnt reproduce it,i 
dunno if this is related though ...
