I've never seen a more disgusting way to do configuration, and I
didn't even load the site, I just read the word XML...

Seriously, command line is about the only place mplayer options are
used!! A few defaults like TV settings and ao/vo driver go in the
config file, but everything else is changed frequently on a per-file
basis.

Anyway, what were you smoking when you wrote this? Sounds like you
should try cola instead of dope next time.... :)))
