Ok.  I would have thought this was fairly trivial, but of course it's
up to you.  Would it be ok to apply it to 0_90 after it's been in the
main branch for a while with no problems?  Or is 0.90 going to be
released too soon for that?

Well, in my original message I mentioned how the original version
failed to work on my system.  Also, libdha/Makefile already uses gcc
instead of ld, so it shouldn't be too dangerous.
