I'd say timer-macosx.c is trivial - although the API is not terribly
well documented. Anyway, timer-darwin is superior in almost every
possible way - it uses less CPU, and it is far more accurate. (Well,
unlike timer-macosx, it _is_ accurate ;) Heck, the APIs even use K&R
notation for the functons. It's about as good as it gets :D
If people go looking for it, it'll still be in the repository, just not
cluttering the most recent version of mplayer.
