Here's what I did:

Applied your latest patch and played a mov, an asf and an avi file
with wmv, svq3 and divx codecs under X and console.  All worked well
apparently, but I'm not sure what exactly should be tested..  What
else do you want me to test?  Do you need mplayer -v output or
something like this?
