[MPlayer-dev-eng] gmplayer, gui is blank

Well,

If I do that I loose the 3-D acceleration of my video card. My laptop has a 
1400x1050 screen and 16MB of video ram. 16 bit mode works fine, but if I got 
to 24bit mode I have to lower my screen rez... I would rather have the higher 
video rez.
