Hi!

Actually it would be really good if this order could be customized.
On a (slow) pda this will be a bit slow perhaps.

Also it would be really nice to have an option that makes xmms plugins be 
dlopened when mplayer is started up, and dlclosed when mplayer exits - for 
speed again. 
And again for speed reasons it would be nice if mplayer could optionally try 
guessing by extension first, and than falling back to calling up all demuxers 
in turn.

As soon as I thought it over I shall provide a patch - I am sure you have 
thought about this before, maybe there was a conclusion.
