About the only way to convince them to use this format is to
- create dshow filters for creation and playback of this format
- create windows gui frontend for those filters to allow nobrainer
create MCPF files from avi+ac3/mp3/vorbis/pcm(or any of them wrapped
  in WAV)
- arrange with authors of most popular player programs to create
additional support for them if needed (including adding
entry for this filetype to registry that would make doubleclick-play
  possible with these players)

Without this the format is doomed even before it took off.
