Eh? That patch only removed that silly macro, which is completely
working.

This patch is a bit chaotic, it has both the malloc and the ALLOCATE
line and both are _removed_, even the ALLOCATE one doesn't present in
the current source.

<EHH> Just looked, and it does... dunno what happened, the patch I made
was clean, it got mad before commiting (and there were some revisions in
between), and I haven't double checked before commiting. Sorry.
