Actually it puts some more info into the output log users (should) provide
with bugreports. So we can tell them, that p1 100 is not enough to play HDTV.

If it doesnt slow startup down (the original version took 1 second to
measure, afaik atmos fixed that and it's only 50ms, its acceptable) then
it could go in.
