Hi!
My question is whether the movie length in seconds is accurately
estimated with (demux->movi_end-demux->movi_start) / sh_video-> i_bps for
all streams ?
The xmms plugin needs to know the length - and I thought seeking to the end
on a fast 206 mhz strongarm cpu must take some noticable amount of time, but
I can't check that .
Also are there plans to make a libmplayer similar to libxmms, with functions
to communicate with an mplayer process through some socket ? This would be
imho more convenient than the current -slave . If nobody is working on this,
I might attempt to make it, if you think it would be a useful improvement to
mplayer. This would also make it possible to make the GUI a plugin too easily.
bye
Denes
ps: the correct way of sending this email was brought to my attention, that's
why i reposted it
