Well, I don't see how that would solve anything technically. A sub_pos
between -100 and 100 is the same as a sub_pos between 0 and 100 and
a boolean variable. Also, when the subs are at the top-most position
(sub_pos=0), and you press R, would they not be further down
(sub_pos=-1)?

Anyway, I'd like to see a sub_pos_valign or something (top/center/bottom).
In the future, a sub_pos_halign (left/center/right) might be useful too.
In this case neither an additional boolean value or a negative value for
sub_pos would do.
