hi to all coder, and good work=)

i have 2 idea 
1° wehen doing a 2 pass encoding or a 3 pass encoding why during 1° pass 
mencoder should write the avi file??
it's unusefull.. and so.. can you set that it will not write it... you only 
need a if..in code.. and i think that encoding will speed up if mencoder only 
have to write a 3mb stat file intsthead that the stafie and a 2Gb avi file...

2° whne usign -endpos  the progression nunmber (3%, 4% ) arrive not to 100% 
and all stats work not too fine.... menocder make statistic for a encoding 
without -endpos even if i use it..
i tihkn that it will be beautiful and usefulk that if i set endpos 00:05:00 
mencoder will arrive at100% after 5 minutes and that it will also show the 
expected size for a 5 minutes avi. nadn ot for a 1h 30 miun file=)
