I know, no opinions, but IMHO it's necessary... (Sorry!)
I like the design but not the structure part of it (can be 
changed easy). I miss the following things on the front:

    - Documentation! (maybe + automaticly created html man page)
    - Mailinglists (with link to Archive)
    - Donations (btw, you should add some notes about where to
      send stuff)
    - What about s/information/Features/
    - What about s/projects/Links/
    - What about changing the first letter to upper case?
    - I'm not sure about ChangeLog / AUTHORS / tech docs / etc
      stuff (maybe Credits, About MPLayer or Development)
    - Download should contain more links IMHO, eg. link to old 
      releases, etc)
    - Maybe projects/Links should contain some information about 
      other related projects like xine...
    - Why this "hungarian", on the front page. Afaik it's 
      possible to handle this internal (eg. browser tells server 
      to use news.html.hu or sthg like this, donno)
    - Ohh, I almost forgot Diego's wishlist... ;))

I know, "kiss"... And I know it's too much for the small space 
(e.g. it would probably need two line, maybe important things on 
top, less important things bellow, donno).

I just try to help, forward it to Tornado if you want...
