Well, he was going down the right road, just never got to the final
destination.  MPlayer could be suid root, but _the_first_thing_
MPlayer should do it set the (kernel) "capabilities" that it needs to
do it's job and then immediately shed all priviledge and continue on
doing what MPlayer does currently.
