don't worry, i won't :)
audio filters is your area.

anyway, i'm agains this way of solving this problem.
imho, the same way shoudl be followed as in libmpcodecs, if a plugin
cannot handle the parameters/format requested, it will return fail to the
initialization function. so it will not be loaded at all. it's imho better
than passthrough.
