Hi,
This is a resend of a patch I mistakenly announced on mplayer-users;
it's attached below. Although originally for the 2002-05-05 CVS
version, I've verified that it still applies to the current snapshot.
These changes should make it possible to read large (>2GB)
AVI files according to the "OpenDML" file extensions (simple
additional RIFF headers in the file). More specifically, I have
tested with some large files generated by "streamer" from the xawtv
package. There is also a bit more fault tolerance with regard to
corrupt list sizes (probably due to a bug in streamer) in AVI files.
Regards,
Wolfram.
