anyway, what about creating 3 binary packages instead of the current one?

one for p1 (-march=i486 -mcpu=pentium), one for i686
(-march=i686 -mcpu=i686) and one for k6 arch?

so users could get packages more optimized to their cpu
currently teh default for runtime cpudetect is -march=i486 -mcpu=i686
so it is code optimized to p2/p3 but it will run on 486 too (slower)
