yes, i've read it, too
it sugegst a big mess with UID and GID numbers to get same for mailman and
qmail, and recompilation of mailman with some nonstd options etc...
i've tried it, partially, but didn't work
qmail runs as user with very limited permissions, while mailman assumes
it's started by root (as sendmail does) and wants to change its uid runtime

qmail doc said run it with csh. i'm not using it, just tried, as written above
