I get scaling with -vo sdl:x11 -zoom -fs -vaa_nodr. Are you sure vo_sdl get a
yuv imgfmt? It can't scale rgb/bgr as SDL can't scale rgb/bgr.

The -vo sdl:dga freeze is a known problem. I get it with mplayer 0.60 too.
Don't know how to fix it though.
