Hmm, what about a simple PayPal account. If you have a friend in the US they 
can open an account and send the "mplayer team" the VISA card.  Then the 
"mplayer team"  can just go to the nearest ATM and take out the money. By 
doing it this way you will avoid international wire transfers.
