Umm, resampling should never adjust pitch aside from adding artifacts
at other frequencies due to aliasing, etc. IIRC, pitch scaling would
be for when you want to speed up/slow down sound without changing the
pitch, right?

Anyway, personally, I'd be happy with a horrid nearest-neighbor
resampler if it could just get the frequency right. But it probably
doesn't make sense to work on anything until the new aop system is
designed and implemented.
