I'm not sure if this would be a good idea or not, but I was thinking
it might be nice to have -vf add filters if specified more than once,
rather than replacing the old list. Perhaps there could be ways to
make it totally override the old list and optionally insert at the
beginning or the end. This would be nice for users who always want to
have some particular filter enabled in their config file and don't
want to have to include it in the command line every time they use
other filters in addition.

On the other hand, the most useful application of this would be for
things like the audio resample and format filters -- and that will
probably be handled automagically in the new af architecture.
