Great stuff!  This fixes one of the most requested features on -users!

This works quite well for me, I can now finally seek, change to
fullscreen and whatnot while the movie is paused.  Video and audio do
advance by a little less than a half second, though.  Isn't it
possible to remember the exact index position and return to this
position somehow?  Audio should best be muted (or not decoded at all)
while paused, at the moment you hear garbled fragments (probably not
garbled - just very very short) when pressing a key.
