it seems to be used as much as dct64, but mp3 decoding uses only 3.5% of my 
cpu (P3 at 500) time and many ppl have faster cpus so i doubt that its worth it 
but the most problematic thing is that the code doesnt look like it could be 
simply converted to sse or mmx
it would be required to change the algorithm to a more SIMD friendly form ...
