You're right. I checked it against my old Rage128 card and color-keying works 
as expected. Back to my R9000 I exemplary removed all OUTREG commands 
relevant to color-keying and voila: No changes. So color-masking is 
effectively nonexistant for now. Will ask other Radoen 8500 and-the-like 
users to see if they suffer the same problem. Probably they're just happy to 
finally have working somehow...
